Bachelor's Degree
The department excels in creating and utilizing measurement techniques to uncover the functional characteristics of biological macromolecules and track active biomolecules within organisms and ecosystems. Within the Biophysical Area, research teams employ diverse biophysical methods such as fluorescence spectroscopy, rapid kinetics, analytical ultracentrifugation, ITC, NMR, and computational modeling to investigate molecular mechanisms. Studies focus on RNA and DNA structural dynamics, protein-protein interactions in cellular signaling and bacterial infection processes, as well as the design of nucleic acid-based nanostructures.
