Environmental Science and Technology (ENST) serves as a hub for ecological exploration and sustainable solutions. Our core objective is to teach students the basics of environmental science while fostering a profound curiosity and skillset for careers in natural resource management, ecological technology development, soil and watershed studies, or ecosystem preservation. ENST provides a distinctive, rigorous curriculum that equips students to comprehend environmental systems and challenges, while also offering interdisciplinary quantitative and analytical methods to solve intricate ecological issues. The Department of Environmental Science and Technology stands as a center for environmental innovation and nature-based solutions. Our fundamental goal is to instruct students in environmental science principles, cultivating both enthusiasm and expertise for careers in Natural Resources Management, Ecological Technology Development, Soil and Watershed Studies, or Ecosystem Health.
High school students and students with fewer than 12 semester hours or 18 quarter hours of university-level credit beyond secondary school should apply as freshman applicants.
