The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Acting offers an immersive performance-focused curriculum designed for students pursuing advanced acting careers or graduate studies. Participants delve into rigorous training across acting, voice, and movement disciplines, applying these techniques to diverse theatrical roles. UMBC views theater as a dynamic art that challenges and reshapes ethical, political, and creative perspectives. Students can choose between the Acting BFA, Theatre BA (Theatre Studies Track), or Theatre BA (Design & Production Track), gaining versatile skills to engage meaningfully with both their craft and society.
