The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts with an Acting specialization offers tailored, hands-on training through classroom learning and stage performances to equip students for professional acting careers. This program delivers comprehensive education in theatre history, dramatic literature, and both classical and modern performance techniques, with guidance from working actors and playwrights. Participants gain valuable experience by performing in major productions helmed by acclaimed New York directors. Admission to this competitive 120-credit program is by audition only.

The acting curriculum incorporates the Suzuki, Stanislavsky, Chekhov, and Linklater methods. Taught by industry professionals, the core program focuses on cultivating a powerful stage presence through physical expressiveness, genuine emotional connection, and vocal mastery. Students work individually and collaboratively, receiving instruction in screen acting, musical performance, and movement from internationally recognized artists. The program concludes with a senior showcase in New York City, where students present their skills to top agents, casting directors, and industry professionals.

Transcripts for all high school and post-high school institutions attended. All transcripts must be submitted in English or translated into English by a professional translation company. Transfer students who studied outside the US must submit a NACES evaluation to receive transfer credit.
Proof of English language proficiency testing (we accept IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo, SAT and ACT).
Applicants may be eligible for an English language proficiency testing waiver based on citizenship and/or prior education where English is the first language.
