This unique program examines theater and performance through lenses of social justice, cultural dynamics, international relations, critical analysis, diverse cultural studies, arts administration, and pedagogy. The TPST curriculum provides hands-on studio classes and seminars covering acting, direction, scriptwriting, production design, technical theater, and stage coordination, alongside innovative projects focusing on reinterpretation and performance creation. Students explore devised theater, intercultural performance traditions, political performance, community-engaged arts, and interdisciplinary studies of identity, race, and gender.
