This program offers students-
Personalized mentorship from seasoned Actors' Equity Association (AEA) Stage Managers. Small class sizes ensure individual attention. Acquire real-world experience by managing productions at both the Jerry Herman Ring Theatre and smaller studio spaces. Observe professional stage managers in action across Broadway, Off-Broadway, touring shows, dance troupes, and opera companies. Complete a summer internship at a professional regional theater. Our pre-professional Stage Management curriculum equips students for theater careers or advanced studies. B.F.A. candidates can serve as stage managers or assistants every semester. Unlike some programs, undergraduates don't compete with graduate students for management roles. All instruction comes directly from faculty members, never graduate assistants.
