The Dietetics program equips students with expertise in food and nutrition systems management. This comprehensive program builds a strong base in biomedical sciences, nutrition studies, behavioral sciences, management principles, and clinical applications. Students develop specialized knowledge in food and nutrition through a focused curriculum in dietetics and nutritional science, enhanced by coursework in chemistry, biology, physiology, business, sociology, and psychology. Earning a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics enables graduates to serve as nutrition professionals across diverse environments such as healthcare facilities, charitable organizations, businesses, and community nutrition programs. Program graduates qualify to pursue accredited dietetic internships and take the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) national examination to obtain the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification.
