Printmedia explores printmaking's legacy as a graphic art and its role in modern art, design, and visual culture. Our fully-equipped studio introduces students to various traditional printing techniques like screen printing, intaglio, lithography, relief printing, and letterpress. Alongside these classic methods, we incorporate modern approaches including risograph, animated prints, zine creation, print installations, and digital techniques. Printmedia students are inspired to investigate multiples as both a design format and a contemporary artistic approach. With intimate class sizes, the program offers personalized guidance and ample studio time.

Qualification Requirements
All secondary school and college/university level transcripts must be submitted for review. The transcripts must be official and in your native language.
You will also need to provide another official transcript that has been translated into English by your secondary school or college/university.
College/university transcripts from institutions outside of the United States will be evaluated for transfer credit by our office.
The University of Kentucky accepts official TOEFL and IELTS results from the testing headquarters.
The minimum TOEFL score of 71 (iBT), 197 (cbt) or 527 (paper-based) or a minimum score of 6.0 on the IELTS is required for admission to the University of Kentucky.
