UTSA offers two NASAD-accredited studio art programs for students pursuing an Art degree. Whether your goal is to work as a professional artist, arts educator, performer, or researcher, UTSA's studio art programs provide ideal mentorship opportunities to develop your creative and contemporary skills. The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) emphasizes rigorous studio work complemented by art history and critical studies. Meanwhile, the Bachelor of Arts (BA) provides foundational training, specialized studio practice, and extensive art historical knowledge.
