The Master of Arts program without clinical practice is granted to students not seeking careers as speech-language pathologists or ASHA certification. Applicants must possess a relevant bachelor's degree and successfully finish 40 approved graduate credits, with advisor approval. A minimum of 20 credits must be SHS courses at the 500-level. While writing a Master's Thesis is highly encouraged, it remains optional and can account for up to 8 credit hours if completed.

Qualification Requirements

Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher education. The Graduate College requires a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 (A=4.0). IELTS (academic exam) - 7.5, TOEFL iBT -103 A grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (A=4.0), or comparable GPA for an international applicant, for last two years of undergraduate study is a minimum requirement for admission.
