The Language & Literacy Education (L&L) program motivates students to examine topics concerning cultural and linguistic diversity, bilingual/ESL instruction, children's literature, and classroom/community literacy practices. Coursework can fulfill requirements for Illinois' Bilingual/ESL endorsement. This program equips educators to critically examine scholarly work influencing educational policies and practices worldwide.
