The Department of Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering (ISE) provides graduate programs for both master's and doctoral degrees in Industrial Engineering (IE) and Systems and Entrepreneurial Engineering (SEE). These interdisciplinary programs bridge traditional boundaries, combining industrial engineering, systems engineering, design principles, and entrepreneurial approaches. The IE curriculum emphasizes advanced topics like operations research, optimization techniques, supply chain logistics, financial engineering, quality control, reliability engineering, and production systems - all designed to enhance modeling, simulation, analysis, and decision-making capabilities for complex technical and economic systems. PhD candidates in Systems and Entrepreneurial Engineering can begin the program with either a bachelor's or master's degree. Those starting with a bachelor's may choose to obtain their master's degree during the program or proceed directly to doctoral studies.
