Sociology examines social life, encompassing individuals, groups, organizations, institutions, and societies. It explores the causes and effects of human behavior and interaction, addressing issues like inequality, poverty, discrimination, and urban development. Sociologists seek to understand social dynamics and their significance for communities.
Students pursuing Sociology majors or minors gain these key abilities:
