Effective secondary education requires teachers to possess specialized skills that enable them to instruct adolescents while maintaining deep subject matter knowledge, whether in science, mathematics, English, history, art, or other disciplines.
This curriculum delivers contemporary teaching approaches, techniques, resources, and digital tools for educating students in grades six through twelve. Participants will study adolescent development and psychology while acquiring specialized expertise in their chosen teaching field. The program includes hands-on classroom experience through a supervised student teaching semester with an experienced educator.
Public school teaching mandates state-specific certification. After completing the program requirements, graduates qualify to take the certification examination for their desired state of employment.
