The J.D. program consists of a 90-credit curriculum leading to a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree. UHLC offers students two pathways: a full-time track or a Part-Time Evening Program. The full-time option suits those focusing primarily on legal studies, whereas the Part-Time Evening Program accommodates working professionals. Evening students can enroll in up to 10 credits per term and typically graduate within four years. Applicants must specify their chosen program during the application process. All students begin in the fall semester, as spring or summer admissions are unavailable. Part-time students follow a mandatory evening schedule during their first year.
