The Mathematics Department at the University of Houston provides an outstanding setting for exploring mathematics and its practical uses. With roughly 10,000 students enrolled in math courses every semester, we're the university's biggest department by student numbers. Our program includes about 300 undergraduate majors and 80 graduate students, supported by a diverse faculty actively engaged in both research and teaching.
