To earn a Bachelor of Science degree, students must complete at least 120 credit hours, with a minimum of 36 advanced-level hours. A cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher is required across all university coursework. Additionally, students must maintain a minimum 2.00 GPA specifically in their major courses. No more than 6 credit hours with grades below C- are permitted within the major, encompassing all GEOL courses and Group 1 and Group 2 electives. Students surpassing this limit must retake necessary courses to meet the two-course maximum for sub-C- grades.
