A substantial portion of an individual's life is dedicated to their career. Research indicates that most employees will devote over 90,000 hours to work throughout their lifetime. Throughout these working years, people continuously interact and exchange information with colleagues. Students in our organizational and corporate communication program examine how people communicate in professional environments. This field of study specifically analyzes communication processes that happen both within organizations and across international borders.
Our curriculum equips students with essential communication abilities for leadership in our interconnected business and nonprofit sectors, including dispute resolution techniques, group cooperation, and cross-cultural understanding. Students also gain expertise in:
Designing communication strategies for workplace teams
Training colleagues in productive communication methods
Maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders, from executives to clients
Producing engaging presentations with modern digital tools
Developing impactful communication content for local, national, and global entities
