The Master of Music program provides specializations in composition and performance, covering instrumental, piano, and vocal studies. To earn the MM degree, students must complete 30 credits, with specific requirements for 600-level coursework (12 credits for Plan A Thesis candidates and 18 credits for Plan B Non-Thesis students, excluding courses 699 and thesis 700). Qualification Requirements

Graduate Division requires a minimum GPA of 3.0 for unconditional admission, and 2.7 for conditional admission. Most applicants amply exceed these minima.
