The Master of Education in Early Childhood Education is a graduate program spanning the entire state, bringing together multiple disciplines to meet the growing demand for leadership in education for children from birth through age eight. This cross-disciplinary degree results from a partnership among Curriculum Studies, Special Education, and Human Development & Family Studies.
The program offers flexible delivery methods and licensure pathway choices to accommodate diverse student requirements. Participants can choose one selection from each available option.

Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institution
GPA: An Undergraduate Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Prerequisites: Students must have at least 9 credits of foundational coursework in child and family studies/early childhood education to form the base for initial license expectations.

Three (3) professional letters of recommendation
Video recorded responses: Applicants will need to answer a series of short video-recorded responses that can be completed on their own time within the application to this program
