As a Hartt performing arts management student, you'll develop professional skills for careers in both performing arts and commercial music. The program offers specializations across diverse business and management fields such as arts marketing, fundraising, nonprofit leadership, touring, recording industry operations, and entrepreneurial ventures. Through interactive coursework featuring case analyses, industry guest lectures, and hands-on projects, you'll examine contemporary challenges in the field. The curriculum includes educational visits to Connecticut cultural organizations plus institutions in Boston and New York. Earning this Bachelor of Arts degree prepares you for positions at artist management firms, performance venues, talent agencies, recording facilities, and professional theater or dance organizations.
You can apply if you are currently enrolled in high school or secondary school, or if you have completed high school or secondary school, but have not started a degree.
You will be required to present the following results: 2.75 (out of 4.0); 3.75 (out of 5.0); 80% (out of 100); 70% (out of 100) India/Canada.
