Our BA in Art History and Museum Professions offers a worldwide view of artistic and architectural traditions while introducing diverse museum careers and collection preservation. Students enjoy hands-on learning at WVU's Art Museum, plus access to four additional campus museums.
By combining art history, studio art, material studies, conservation, anthropology, and cultural history, students examine artworks' physical properties and creative processes. This holistic method builds knowledge of historical artifacts while supporting individual research interests.
