The Master of Education (MEd) in Communication Sciences and Disorders is an ASHA-approved graduate program specializing in speech-language pathology. This program equips graduates with the qualifications to become licensed speech-language pathologists, working in healthcare facilities, schools, or private practices. Through academic instruction, hands-on clinical training, community service initiatives, and supervised internships, students gain the expertise required to launch their professional journey with assurance.
This MEd program follows a non-thesis curriculum. Students seeking research opportunities during their graduate studies should consider our MA program instead. Both degree options emphasize evidence-based treatment approaches, culturally responsive care for varied populations, and continuous career development - from initial clinical experiences through final placements and subsequent professional practice.
This intensive two-year, full-time curriculum provides the necessary training for obtaining state licensure and national certification in speech-language pathology
