This 15-credit program consists of one required core course (3 credits) and four elective courses (12 credits). The foundational course covers essential principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion across various contexts. Students then choose four electives focusing on critical topics including race/ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, migration, economic inequality, and other pressing sociocultural concerns. A key emphasis is developing comprehensive knowledge of systemic inequality to foster the awareness, understanding, and competencies needed to drive meaningful social transformation in diverse environments.
