This multidisciplinary program equips students to tackle intricate social and political issues surrounding ethical drug use, production, distribution, and financing systems. Specialization options include business, psychology, statistics, political science, and additional fields.
The department encompasses pharmacy administration, pharmacy practice, and experimental therapeutics. Combining these disciplines enables pharmacy practitioners to synthesize and implement their coursework in identifying patient issues, gathering and analyzing health data, resolving medication-related concerns, choosing treatment plans, and monitoring results. The experimental therapeutics track offers foundations for fundamental clinical and pharmacological investigations. Additionally, the department examines the economic, social, behavioral, and policy dimensions of creating and delivering pharmaceutical services. These academic components ready students to confront the multifaceted social, political, and medical dilemmas of responsible medication practices. Mission Statement The department strives to impart both knowledge and analytical abilities essential for pharmaceutical care. Qualification Requirements

CET Ph.D. Applicants who hold a professional or graduate degree
Professionals who already hold a Pharm.D. or Master's degree in a biological science are strongly encouraged to apply. The CET program offers expedited training. After evaluating the academic record of the applicant, the graduate coordinator and CET graduate faculty may modify course requirements, potentially reducing the amount of time required to complete the CET program.

3 Letters of Recommendation (LOR) letters should be from individuals associated with the applicant in academic or work-related setting and comment on the applicant's likelihood of success in graduate school.

The UGA Graduate School sets minimal GRE and GPA thresholds of the following mean scores: 151 for verbal and 152 for quantitative, and 3.0 for admission to Ph.D. programs.

International students must also submit official TOEFL exam scores. For more information regarding the TOEFL exam go to www.ets.org/toefl/. NOTE: Clinical & Administrative Pharmacy's average accepted TOEFL score is 100, with at least a 26 (or higher) on verbal.
