The Printmaking Graduate program aims to advance students' artistic vision, technical abilities, and professional aspirations. The curriculum combines one-on-one faculty mentoring with weekly collaborative workshops and critiques focused on printmaking-specific topics. Cross-disciplinary critiques with painting and drawing students occur every other week to foster wider artistic perspectives. While intaglio and lithography form the program's core, participants can explore relief printing, screen printing, photographic processes, vitreography (glass plate printing), book arts, multimedia approaches, and experimental techniques. The program maintains no stylistic bias, evaluating success solely through work quality and conceptual depth. Students gain professional experience through the International Visiting Artist Print Projects - Alagarto Press, where they collaborate with guest artists on print editions.
