The International/Intercultural Communication specialization: This area of study covers international journalism (including both print and broadcast media) along with global business and marketing communications. Intercultural communication examines how individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, value systems, and historical contexts interact. Students develop cultural awareness and media literacy, acquiring essential competencies for success in our complex global society. This mass communication concentration concludes with students completing a thesis on an international or intercultural communication subject, utilizing various communication research methodologies.
