The Geography Department provides Master of Arts (MA) and Master of Science (MS) degrees, along with a Doctoral (PhD) program. These involve structured coursework and the creation of a research thesis or dissertation. Graduate candidates collaborate with faculty advisors to refine their research focus within one of our specialized domains.

Collaborate and study with distinguished faculty members who lead groundbreaking, internationally recognized research across seven key disciplines: Earth System Science, Global Health Medical Geography, Spatial Networks and Dynamics, Geopolitics & International Economics, Disasters, Conservation, and Conflict, Sustainability & Planetary Environmental Shifts, and Geospatial Methods and Applications. Our graduate research spans diverse interdisciplinary topics worldwide, encompassing climate and land use changes, deforestation disputes, extreme weather phenomena, watershed rehabilitation, healthcare availability, and novel disease outbreaks.
