The School of Art and Art History's certificate program allows undergraduate students majoring in non-visual arts disciplines to complete a sequence of studio art courses focused on clay as the primary medium. These courses introduce participants to ceramic art techniques, enhance their clay manipulation abilities, deepen their visual comprehension of artistic concepts, and encourage individual creativity and problem-solving through artistic expression.

Qualification Requirements

At least three full years of your most recent secondary school transcript(s), including courses in progress (grades 9, 10 and 11 + senior schedule) in both the native language of instruction and a word for word certified English translation (if applicable).
All applicants must submit test scores from the SAT, ACT and/or CLT. UF will superscore (take the highest scores for each subsection) to create the highest possible total score. UF does not require or encourage applications to complete the essay portion of the ACT.
