The Horticultural Sciences Department at the University of Florida comprises dedicated faculty, staff, and students working to enhance fruit and vegetable cultivation for growers and consumers alike. UF's facilities and Florida's varied climate enable year-round research with temperate, subtropical, and tropical crops. Our innovative research spans plant breeding & genetics, environmental physiology, crop production, postharvest science, biochemistry, and related fields.
