This program combines classic horticultural studies with the advantages of human-plant interactions. Students can customize their horticulture education by selecting complementary courses in social sciences, business, agricultural communications, education, or creative arts. The curriculum requires a minor from outside horticulture, allowing for specialization in a secondary field. Career possibilities range from organizing special events and managing floral businesses to developing school garden curricula, obtaining teaching certifications, overseeing horticultural enterprises, exploring plant-human relationships, agricultural media, or continuing to graduate studies. Alumni often pursue rewarding careers in diverse settings such as event spaces, global floral trade centers, luxury retreats, urban renewal projects, educational institutions, and various roles enhancing community wellbeing.
