The Communication and Leadership Development program equips students for careers in agribusiness and communication fields, including human resources, strategic messaging, government affairs, media relations, corporate training, and non-traditional education. To empower CLD undergraduates as societal change agents, the curriculum combines communication and leadership coursework tailored to each student's abilities and aspirations. Students will deepen their expertise in agricultural and life science contexts through comprehensive training in digital, verbal, and written communication, along with leadership development spanning interpersonal, team, organizational, and global perspectives. The program also covers specialized topics like social media management, change implementation, public policy, and campaign planning.

Qualification Requirements

At least three full years of your most recent secondary school transcript(s), including courses in progress (grades 9, 10 and 11 + senior schedule) in both the native language of instruction and a word for word certified English translation (if applicable).
All applicants must submit test scores from the SAT, ACT and/or CLT. UF will superscore (take the highest scores for each subsection) to create the highest possible total score. UF does not require or encourage applications to complete the essay portion of the ACT.
