The University of Florida's School of Art and Art History provides multiple pathways for engaging with and mastering studio art. Learners can select between our intensive BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) tracks in Graphic Design or Art (specializing in Ceramics, Digital Art, Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, Sculpture, or Photography), or our adaptable BA in Visual Art Studies (Bachelor of Arts) which permits focused work within particular mediums. BFA candidates enjoy a comprehensive foundations curriculum that promotes creative discovery across diverse artistic forms in their initial two years. While BFA students concentrate deeply on one medium during their upper-level studies, they continue taking courses beyond their primary focus, ensuring exposure to varied artistic practices throughout all four years of the BFA program.
