Courses approved for International Studies in social sciences, humanities, or professional fields that concentrate on a specific global region of the student's selection. Students may enroll in courses not included here with approval from the International Studies Undergraduate Coordinator.

All International Studies majors must select a world region as their specialization. This chosen region influences both the Category A course selections and the program's foreign language prerequisites. Ideally, prospective International Studies majors will have completed introductory courses during high school or college that assist in identifying their preferred global region for academic focus.
