Students in International Studies engage in globally-oriented campus events and undertake research on international or regional topics as part of their senior capstone project.

The program strongly recommends pursuing overseas study opportunities or collaborating with global organizations to gain practical experience for future international professions or advanced academic pursuits.

Majors have opportunities to partner with NGOs or participate in both international and domestic service-learning initiatives.

While developing expertise in a particular world region, students cultivate critical thinking skills to analyze pressing global challenges.

This degree equips graduates for professional paths in international relations, global development, media and communications, education, business, public health, environmental sustainability, government service, consulting, and transnational research.
