Our Master's program blends comprehensive training in conventional international studies with focused specialization options and hands-on experiences through internships or in-depth research. Designed for flexibility and self-direction, this MA offers concentrations in quantitative analysis, environmental conservation, policy development, global health, and regional studies.
This program attracts students aiming for careers across government agencies, private organizations, and non-profits, as well as those planning to pursue doctoral studies. Alumni currently hold positions at the State Department, Energy Department, USAID, World Bank, UNDP, Red Cross, and Human Rights Watch.
The 60-credit curriculum includes three foundational courses, three specialization classes, three skill-building courses, four electives, and an internship. Students enjoy considerable freedom in selecting courses within these requirements.
We place special emphasis on cultivating real-world competencies in nonprofit financial management, fundraising strategies, and intercultural communication - skills applicable to diverse international professions.
