The Lamont School of Music's cello program fosters a supportive and creative atmosphere where students can expand their artistic horizons.
As part of Lamont's cello studio, you'll learn from Professor Matthew Zalkind and gain from Professor Heather Hadley's teaching expertise. Zalkind, a prize-winner at prestigious events like Moscow's International Tchaikovsky Competition, brings his experience as a global soloist and former Harlem String Quartet member to guide students toward technical excellence while cultivating their musical expression.
Hadley, a certified Suzuki Association of the Americas instructor, has contributed to the American Suzuki Journal, appeared in SAA educational videos, and held a leadership role with the Suzuki Association of Colorado.
