The nine-credit Molecular Diagnostics certificate program, delivered mainly online, welcomes junior and senior students enrolled in relevant science-focused programs or those with departmental approval from Medical and Molecular Sciences. Practicing medical laboratory professionals who lack prior training in Molecular Diagnostics, Genetics, and Molecular techniques can also participate at undergraduate or graduate levels.

Through its structured curriculum, the Applied Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (AMBB) program equips students for diverse biotechnology careers. Combining practical training with theoretical knowledge, it builds expertise in core biotechnology disciplines. Industry and academic instructors expose students to biotechnology's vast potential. Graduates gain competitive advantages for research roles across biopharmaceuticals, public health, diagnostics, forensics, and government labs. This program also provides strong preparation for advanced graduate or professional studies.
