The BS in Integrated Health Sciences - Pre-Occupational Therapy Concentration aims to equip students with core competencies in biological, behavioral, and nutritional sciences to foster wellness and healthy living, while preparing them for advanced studies in Occupational Therapy. Graduates of this program will achieve the following learning outcomes: Recognize how biological and physiological systems function as the basis for human health. Utilize nutritional principles to enhance wellbeing. Understand how cultural and environmental influences shape health practices in diverse populations. Implement research-backed theories and frameworks to modify health-related behaviors. Analyze and evaluate scientific research to formulate evidence-based health guidance.
