This program equips students for admission to occupational therapy graduate programs. While graduate OT programs accept various undergraduate degrees, the B.S. in Health Science with a pre-occupational therapy focus specifically prepares students for healthcare careers while incorporating all necessary prerequisite coursework. ISU offers this Health Science bachelor's degree through collaboration between the Kasiska Division of Health Sciences and multiple colleges including Health Professions, Communication and Rehabilitation Sciences, and Technology. The Health Science degree offers five distinct concentration options, giving students adaptable pathways to achieve their professional aspirations.

Qualification Requirements
Freshman applicants must submit official secondary school mark sheets and diploma. All documents must be originals or copies certified by the school principal or controller of examinations and sealed in a school envelope. Documents not in English must be translated by a certified translator. If your first language is not English, official English proficiency scores must be submitted directly to the International Programs Office from the testing center. To be considered for admission to ISU, international students applying as new undergraduates must meet the following academic requirements:
Have graduated from a high school or secondary school with satisfactory grades, received a diploma or certificate of graduation, and be eligible for admission to a major university in the country from which they graduated.
Have at least a 2.25 GPA.
TOEFL iBT: 61, Paper: 500, Computer: 173, IELTS- 5.5 overall score OR a minimum 5.0 in ALL subscores
