Entrepreneurship serves as the key catalyst for innovation and expansion in the global economy, and UD's electrical engineering programs offer extensive avenues to investigate this dynamic that underpins societal competitiveness, achievement, and advancement.
Hands-on laboratory work allows undergraduates to apply classroom knowledge to actual equipment and observe firsthand the physical principles they study mathematically in courses. Thanks to our lab curriculum, graduates not only grasp technical concepts but also possess the capabilities and practical background to transform them. Over time, our electrical engineering students, faculty, and graduates have contributed to launching numerous successful entrepreneurial ventures, continually impacting the world through their inventive mindset, technological enthusiasm, and knowledge application.
UD's electrical engineering students gain from diverse experiential learning options, including comprehensive senior design projects, undergraduate research initiatives, and the Vertically Integrated Projects program that combines undergraduate education with faculty research in collaborative teams. Numerous undergraduates achieve publication in academic journals or present at nationwide conferences prior to graduation.
