The Biology Department provides a non-thesis Master of Science option along with an accelerated combined Bachelor's/Master's track for existing undergraduate students. The particular study plan is established through discussions between the student and their advisory team. Students can focus on one of two primary specializations: Environmental/Ecological Studies or Biomedical Sciences.

Applicants must have an undergraduate degree from an accredited program in engineering, physics, chemistry, applied mathematics or other appropriate program of study. Applicants with a different undergraduate degree may be required to complete prerequisites. Applicants should have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.
