The UConn Master of Science in Quantitative Economics (MSQE) is a STEM-designated program focused on applying quantitative techniques and data analytics to address economic challenges. Graduates leave with both a solid grounding in economic principles and the practical abilities to conduct advanced economic and data analysis. The program features specialized elective courses and summer internship opportunities to prepare students for career advancement.
UConn provides a comprehensive, semester-long MSQE program open to international students holding a bachelor's degree. Additionally, we feature an expedited track for current UConn undergraduates seeking to combine their Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a Master of Science (MS) in quantitative economics. Admission to both program options requires application through the Graduate School.
