Collaborative opportunities exist to create customized secondary specializations with other university programs, such as Medieval Studies, Gender Studies, Human Rights, and Judaic Studies.

The Ph.D. in Literatures, Cultures and Languages adopts an interdisciplinary framework for its diverse curriculum. Emphasizing the interconnectedness of regional cultures, historical periods, and scholarly methods, the program views literary and cultural studies as vital to understanding our globalized world. A key goal is exploring how literature, culture, and language transcend traditional academic, national, and regional divisions. Research specializations are designed to complement one another, fostering an integrated approach.
