The BME Program Directors, in consultation with the School of Engineering and Graduate School, developed the 5-Year B.S. & M.S. Academic Plan. This plan enables students to efficiently earn both a B.S. and an M.S. in BME while adhering to established policies. Students pursuing this path must be familiar with and comprehend the policies of the BME Program, School of Engineering, and Graduate School. Individual academic records and career objectives may cause a student's path to deviate from the outlined plan. For graduate-level policy inquiries, contact Birgit Sawstrom, Administrative Service Assistant to the BME Program. For undergraduate-level questions, reach out to Lisa Ephraim, Undergraduate Academic Advisor. Master's Plan B Coursework Only The Plan B Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering requires completion of thirty (30) graduate-level credits. The M.S. curriculum mandates five engineering courses and one life science course.
