The Mathematics Department provides academic programs in Mathematics, Applied Mathematical Sciences, Actuarial Science (collaborating with the School of Business), Mathematical Statistics (partnering with the Statistics Department), and Mathematics Physics (working with the Physics Department).
Students can pursue either a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, Applied Mathematical Sciences, Mathematics-Statistics, Mathematics-Actuarial Science, or Mathematics-Actuarial Science-Finance, along with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics-Physics. The Bachelor of Science curriculum delivers comprehensive mathematical education, preparing students for advanced studies or careers in scientific, governmental, industrial, or research settings. The Bachelor of Arts program offers modern mathematics training with less specialization than the Bachelor of Science track.
