The School Psychology Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) program provides extensive, hands-on training and a robust grounding in school psychology theory and applied techniques. Graduates develop an evidence-driven, culturally aware, equity-focused, and team-oriented methodology. This program stands among just 14 APA-accredited School Psychology PsyD programs nationwide. It's one of the few APA-approved programs that includes an optional bilingual (Spanish-English) specialization for school psychologists. Additionally, it's the sole school psychology program featuring an optional graduate credential in the Neurosequential Model in Education (NME), an educational framework addressing trauma. With perfect employment outcomes for graduates, it represents Colorado's most cost-effective option for this degree. The program's core purpose focuses on preparing school psychologists skilled in cultural and linguistic responsiveness. Every course emphasizes principles of fairness and societal equity. Participants receive guided practical experience alongside thorough theoretical and clinical preparation.
