The Master of Fine Arts in Dance is a 60-credit program typically completed over three academic years (summers excluded). Participants usually enroll in 10 credits each semester, allowing ample opportunity for additional creative exploration and academic research. This graduate program welcomes diverse applicants, ranging from working professionals to those who've recently earned their bachelor's degrees. Our curriculum equally fosters artistic expression, physical development, personal growth, performance abilities, teaching methodologies, and academic research capabilities. Qualification Requirements

Hold a baccalaureate degree in dance, or equivalent dance experience with a degree in another field. Have an undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75 and meet the Graduate School's Minimum Admission Requirements. The Department of Theatre & Dance requires a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based), 79 (internet-based) or a mimimum IELTS score of 6.5. GRE test scores are not required for the MFA in Dance application. Submit one transcript from each institution of higher education attended.
