Our mathematics department boasts an esteemed graduate faculty of 27 award-winning professors, specializing in diverse research fields such as algebra, algebraic geometry, mathematical analysis, combinatorial mathematics, Lie theory, differential equations, differential geometry, mathematical logic and foundations, number theory, probability theory, and topology. The department regularly welcomes visiting scholars and postdoctoral researchers, while maintaining a vibrant seminar culture with many student-led discussions. Our curriculum features rotating core courses in algebra, analysis, topology, geometry, foundations, and number theory, complemented by advanced topics courses that adapt annually to reflect faculty and student interests.
