In our increasingly interconnected world, communities worldwide confront intricate health issues shaped by cultural and social elements, environmental conditions, and economic-political factors. Tackling these complex public health concerns demands creative, interdisciplinary solutions.
The Global Public Health track, part of the Public Health Certificate program, caters specifically to IAFS students. This pathway enables undergraduates to broaden their education by incorporating public health perspectives. No scientific background or medical career aspirations are necessary to join the certificate program. Completing this certificate creates pathways to advanced studies and careers in policy, healthcare, development sectors, as well as opportunities with governmental agencies, NGOs, and nonprofit organizations.
